I happened to be lucky and found Athena's Greaves (purple epic, 580 or so armor and a long list of passive bufs) and a few other epic gear items that allowed me to run away a bit faster from enemiesĪbout the game's difficulty, I'd say that if you went and rushed through (IE not saving/quitting, starting again and grind a bit here and there) then you'd run into trouble towards the end of the Greek chapter (and subsequent chapters), but if you stick with grinding every now and then and checking the loot of opponents you may find yourself leveling up a bit more and getting better equipment that'll get you further without problems.Could an Attack on Titan movie prevent Hajime Isayama's anime series falling into the same ending trap that swallowed Game of Thrones? Despite enjoying widespread acclaim from fans and critics for so long prior, Game of Thrones' final season has gone down in TV history for all the wrong reasons. You have to have luck with getting gear off enemies, moreso in the second and final difficulty levels. Later on I even got an armband or necklace that allowed me to summon Wolf Pack pets as well (Nature), but those would die with a few hits More MP consuming but a conjurer has bucketloads anyway.
I'd use Ternion Attack from a short distance (gah why did they have to nerf that skill in the patch) while the pets could mostly hold their own. The conjurer was better because I mastered Lich King pet and Outsider pet in the spirit class and the Core Dweller in the earth class I basically didn't have to worry about getting chased by enemies, they would just go after my pets. Lethal Strike, Volley, Gouge, Calculated Strike, Call of the Hunt and Marksmanship trees I maxed to deal lots of damage. The brigand was good because I could use a combination of a spear/shield and a bow/arrow setup (W is your friend, of course) to alternate between close combat and longer range. I rolled 2 characters, one a Brigand (Hunting + Rogue) and the other a Conjurer (Spirit + Earth) and I'd have to say that the Conjurer was easier to work with, because he can keep his distance while pets take care of the dirty work/luring enemies.
I played Titan Quest a lot, really a lot. It's not a game-killer but it is highly irritating.Īll in all, I find it to be an enjoyable game and I like the Mastery system and the ability to choose two masteries to intertwine with each other.Īnyone else have this game and want to share their thoughts on it? Maybe some character builds, etc? Oh well, maybe someone will figure it out at some point. I have heard this is a common complaint and that there is no real fix for it since the game appears to have some poor development, and the developer is apparently no longer in existence.
I can play COD4 with all the settings cranked and have framerates as smooth as glass, but this game seems to drop frames like water in a sieve for no apparent reason. But I am still in Act I, so this will probably change soon! Second thing that bugs the crap out of me is the game's performance. I used to play a lot of Diablo II by myself, and that game seemed a bit more open ended in my wanderings and killing of the demon hordes. The game has a few annoyances for me, so far. I'm not usually inclined to play this type of character, but it seemed the simplest combination to start with and I think I will try some different things later on. I just downed a big old Cyclops that nearly tore my face off and used it as toilet paper. I like the Greek setting and the connections to mythology, although a number of things have bothered me about the game that I will get into later.Ĭurrently, I have a level 11 Conqueror (Defense/Warfare) and it's pretty difficult at times to stand up to some of the tougher creatures. I've been playing it quite a bit, and I did a little poking around for information about the different masteries and what were good combinations. I picked up Titan Quest and Immortal Throne two weekends ago on a whim, since I'd already played the demo and I like this kind of game.
